He's just finished participating in the Bangalore marathon, but Ganesh isn’t taking a breather anytime soon. He’s currently dubbing for his next release, Eno Ontara, after which he’s heading off to Hyderabad to shoot for Maduve Mane (MM).
Then, there’s work to be done on his second home production. “It’s a college love story, the title of which is yet to be decided,” Ganesh tells BT.
The film, says G, will explore campus life in a humorous manner.

While he won’t tell us whether the film will include a ragging sequence, à la 3 Idiots, Ganesh does reveal that, like Aamir Khan, he will be shedding the pounds to look like a college student. “I’m on a vigorous exercise regimen and am following strict diet to get there,” he says.
While the heroine hasn’t been decided — “We’re on the lookout for a good-looking girl over 18” — the director will be Mahesh of Mussanje Mathu fame, who is also directing Eno Ontara. “He brings in a lot of emotions and romance when he directs. That’s why Shilpa (his wife and co-producer) and I chose him,” explains Ganesh. And the cinematographer will be Rathnavelu, who’s currently working on Robot, starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “He’s one of best cameramen in the south and a friend as well. I’m glad that after finishing Robot, he’ll start working with us. He’s also looking forward to shooting for a Kannada film,” he says.
While Ganesh was quite involved in the production of Maleyali Jotheyali, he’s leaving that aspect of his second production to Shilpa this time around. “I know she’s capable and will do a perfect job,” he winds up.
